Valhalla Middle/High School: A Hub of Creativity and Innovation

At Valhalla Middle/High School, the spirit of creativity thrives. Recently, alumni Eric Ciccotelli returned to share his journey from a student in Dr. Fox's AP Computer Science class to a software engineer at Google. His visit sparked lively discussions about artificial intelligence, inspiring current students to envision their futures in tech.

The school is not just about academics; it’s also a vibrant community where cultural expression flourishes. Students recently showcased their talents during an event that celebrated food, dance, and language at Karma Restaurant in Ossining—an experience that brought the Spanish language alive for those enrolled in Senior O'Riley's College Spanish/Heritage Speaker classes.

In addition to these enriching experiences, Valhalla has recognized its artistic talent by naming two students as November Artists of the Month—a testament to the school's commitment to fostering creativity alongside academic achievement.

With new leadership under Jonathan Gross as Facilities Director and ongoing support from parents through initiatives like NYSED Parent Dashboard and various clubs and activities, Valhalla continues to adapt and grow. The school maintains a focus on educational technology while ensuring accessibility for all students.

As we look ahead with excitement towards upcoming events such as half-day schedules or special announcements via Google Classroom, one thing remains clear: Valhalla Middle/High School is dedicated not only to educating but also nurturing well-rounded individuals ready for future challenges.
